This forum is for people who have a Mr.Ghost EMF detector and would like to discuss their findings. Please be respectful of each other's opinions. I'll start. Attached is an audio recording of the field from my dimmer switch. With a baseline reading of around 8, my Samsung TV puts out nearly 400, while my mom's old CRT puts out over 3600! Attachments:

Wow, that is a trippy one. I bet it's the high voltage power supply in the plasma. I wouldn't be surprised if a neon sign made a similar signal.

I received mine today. It seems to be working good. I'm getting a base reading around 7 to 9. However, I have an Ionic Breeze Air Purifier and I'm getting 2500 -3400 reading around it. I like the black antenna color which I ordered through Amazon. It goes very well with my iPhone and is well constructed.

Awesome! And that's in the highest readings I've heard so far. It's likely due to high frequency off of the air purifier. You can see that with the spectrum analyzer function. Also, I would love if you put a review on Amazon about it!

I have given this a 5 star on Amazon with a review. I really like this. I find it more fun to use compared to my traditional EMF meters. My router shows in the 12 range and my older Sony TV is in the 25 range. Oddly, I'm only showing baseline readings around my microwave oven. I look forward to exploring more using this detector.

Hey James, Thanks for giving the review! I've actually never gotten very large readings off of microwave ovens either. The shielding on them is usually quite good at microwave frequencies, although Mr.Ghost detects at much lower frequencies. Maybe the shielding works for all of it.
